Alex’s smile grew as she placed her hands over his. “I hope it’s soon too…” He said. “And I kind of hope it’s a girl. She would look just like you.” He added. He took one of her hands in his and walked over to her bed, sitting down and pulling her in his lap.
Tay teared up slightly when he said he hoped it was a girl, and his reason for such preference. She blinked quickly, making the tears vanish and smiling once again. She nodded, “Me too.” She walked quickly to the bed, propping herself on Alex’s lap and wrapping her arms around his neck, laying her head on his shoulder. “So, how have you been?” She asked quietly.
I have an interview on Wednesday at a record shop at the mall c:
Alex returned the hug, taking in her scent. “I missed you so much, too.” He said. He kissed her cheek, and picked her up before spinning her around. When he put her down, he placed his hands on her belly and smiled. “The baby has grown so much.” He said, still grinning. “When will we know if it’s a boy or a girl?”
Tay giggled when Alex picked her up and spun her around. She smiled at him and looked down at her belly, “I know.” She beamed, placing her hands over his. “Well, I’m just about ten weeks, so soon I hope!” She exclaimed. The gender was the thing she was most eager about. Deep down, she wanted a baby girl, but she would love a boy just the same.

As interesting as that sounds, sitting in the house is getting kind of old.
